Social Media is the collective of online communication channels which are dedicated to community-based input, interaction, content sharing and collaboration. Social media is used by over half of the current population with 99% of people aged 16-24 in the UK stating that they had used social media within the past week, while they spent close to an hour a day using it to communicate. Social media is quickly evolving every day and it is almost impossible to reject and hide from this new form of media. It is changing the way we each live our lives and how we view certain things.

The Dubai-based entrepreneur, make-up maestro, blogger and internet sensation Huda Kattan promises an “airbrushed finish for a second skin look,” comparing it to an “Instagram Filter IRL” and has sent make-up lovers and beauty journos into meltdown, with a waiting list for the foundation on Cult Beauty already.

The legalisation of cannabis to me is one of the most controversial debates of my lifetime. After the government un-shockingly announced earlier this year that they were not going to even consider talks on the decriminalization of marijuana in the UK, it made me wonder why we even bother to sign these petitions anyway? Why would the government want to legalise marijuana now? After continuously standing against it throughout the years.

Fyre Festival attendees were promised paradise on a luxury private island, only to arrive in the Exumas, Bahamas, on Thursday to find a half-finished festival site, uninhabitable accommodations and hundreds of fans pleading to get out.
